The official description names the Skill Tree as the place where cash improves your run. Public first-party sources do not expose its current nodes, costs, reset rules, or exact effects.
Read a node before buying
Classify the live effect by the operation it changes: document collection, scrap vacuuming, carrying or travel, shredder interaction, cash generation, or another clearly stated mechanic. Then ask whether that operation is actually slowing the current room.
Use a simple decision sequence:
- Identify the repeated delay in your last room.
- Read the exact live node text and prerequisite.
- Check whether the benefit lasts for the run or beyond it.
- Buy one relevant change and observe the next room.
- Reassess instead of assuming the same branch is always best.
The Company Card badge confirms that buying a first upgrade is intended progression. Exceeded Expecations confirms that purchasing every upgrade in a single run is also a separate challenge. Those badges do not identify the cheapest path or prove that “buy everything” is the best normal strategy.
Do not copy a price, multiplier, or reset promise without a date and current in-game screen. Keep enough cash for the actions the live room requires if the interface makes spending a tradeoff.
